Synopsis: Superman attempts to intercept a comet at the edge of Earth's atmosphere, but upon colliding with it, the Man of Steel cannot prevent a leftover chunk from plunging towards our planet. Chemo makes his return to Earth on the comet fragment and crashes at the Metro Narrows Bridge, fusing with Joe Quinn, an upset auto worker who has been laid off. Chemo then goes on a rampage against the Major Motors factory, Quinn's former employer.
