Note: Editora Cinco stops releasing concurrent and pre-published issues of "Supermán" by Editorial Novaro, which had ceased printing comic books in early 1985. In its place, it enters an agreement with Grupo Editorial Vid, which had just started a new Superman title "El Hombre De Acero." Rather than starting with a new #1, Editora Cinco continued its legacy numbering, although the trade dress for the books no longer had the 'Supermán' name in it, but the 'S' logo and "El Hombre De Acero" title.

El Hombre De Acero #1
(November 3, 1986)
Grupo Editorial Vid - México

Synopsis: Superman enters the post 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' age with this series by superstar John Byrne introducing an all-new origin tale that gives a completely different take on the early days of the Man of Steel and his home planet of Krypton!

Note: By this time, neither Editorial Novaro nor Grupo Editorial Vid, had printed 'Crisis on Infinite Earths,' so, for readers, this new version of Superman and his origin came without any explanation or context.
